Updated 4 October 2026: we re-checked piegp.com, replaced the June 2026 status with what we found on 4 October 2026, and removed an offer we could not confirm.
As of 4 October 2026, piegp.com does not load as a PieGP store. When we checked at 16:49 UTC, the https address (https://piegp.com) did not respond at all. The http address (http://piegp.com) sent visitors on to another gold seller's website. We found no statement from PieGP about the outage.
What we found on 4 October 2026
- https://piegp.com and https://www.piegp.com: no response. Our connection timed out after 25 seconds, on two attempts from our server.
- http://piegp.com and http://www.piegp.com: a permanent redirect (HTTP 301) to another gold-selling site, with "ref=piegp" added to the address. The redirect is set at the domain registrar.
- Domain: the piegp.com domain is still registered. Its registry record was last updated on 23 June 2026.
A redirect like this is set by whoever controls the domain. We do not know why it was set up, or whether PieGP will return.
What happened earlier
In June 2026, piegp.com showed a server error (HTTP 526) instead of the store:
A 526 error means the security certificate on the site's own server could not be validated. That can happen during a short outage, or when a site is no longer maintained.
We have covered other gold sites going offline before: Bogla and Arcus, Alch.com and RSGilded.
What PieGP customers can do
- If you have an open order, contact PieGP through any channel you used before. We cannot see or settle PieGP orders.
- Do not enter payment or login details on any page that claims to be PieGP until its status is clear.
- Keep your receipts and payment records in case you need to dispute a charge with your payment provider.
How we checked
- We requested piegp.com and www.piegp.com over https and http from our server on 4 October 2026 between 16:49 and 16:50 UTC, and read the DNS and domain registry records at the same time.
- One check from one location shows the state at that moment. A site can come back, or behave differently from another network.
- Who did this: an AI editor ran the checks and wrote this update.
